A Planning Meeting will be held in the Village Hall on Monday June 28th 2021 at 7:30pm to consider the following applications: (full application details can be found on the Cherwell District Council website https://planningregister.cherwell.gov.uk/Search/Results):

21/01665/F  Malthouse Farm, North Aston Rd. – Build Grain store with weighbridge and access to North Aston Rd.

21/01959/TEL  Telecommunications Mast at North Aston – Installation of dish and equipment at existing mast.

21/00956/ADV  Church of St. Mary, Duns Tew –  Installation of New Notice Board

21/01276/F  29 Dashwood Rise. Build side extension and games room.

21/01865/TCA  Little Steine, Hill Farm Lane – cut back of Yew tree

Annual Parish Meeting 2021-05-04

Come and have your say this Tuesday at the Annual Parish Community Meeting

Once a year the Parish holds the equivalent of an AGM. All village residents are invited and welcome to attend.

The point of the Annual Parish Community Meeting is to present a review of the preceding year. The outgoing Chair of the Parish Council will give a brief account of the activities and achievements of the Parish Council during the preceding year and to outline priorities for the coming year. Last year a meeting was not held due to Lock Down restrictions therefore a review of the last two years will be presented.

It is also a chance for villagers to express concerns or priorities which they would like the council to consider over the course of the coming year.

The Annual Parish Community Meeting will be held on Zoom on Tuesday 4th May 2021, 19:00-19:30

  1. Welcome and introduction to the Virtual meeting procedure.
  2. Apologies for absence:   To receive any apologies.
  3. Declarations of Pecuniary Interest and Dispensations:   To receive any declarations of interest and requests for dispensations from Councillors relating to items on the agenda, in accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct.
  4. Minutes of the Last Meeting:   To receive the minutes of the last meeting: 14th September 2020.
  5. Public Participation:   To receive questions from members of the public relating to items on the agenda, in accordance with the Council’s code of conduct and standing orders. Up to 20 minutes are allowed for public participation. Participants are restricted to 5 minutes each or 5 minutes per item.
  6. Finance:  
  1. Payments due – to resolve to pay accounts as presented.  
  2. Income received – to receive details of income.
  3. To receive an update on the notice of conclusion of Audit for the year ended 31st March 2020.
  4. Parish Council expenses – to consider a bank card for the payment of small expenses.
  5. Internal Auditors – to consider provision for the financial year 2020/2021.
  6. Asset Register – to consider the updated Asset Register.
  7. Bank Reconciliation – to note the bank balance and statements have been verified.
