Temporary Road Closure at Somerton, Water Street

A request has been received from Sunbelt Rentals UK Ltd for a temporary road closure to apply to a section of Water Street whilst Openreach access  their overhead network for testing.

A temporary Notice is being made to implement the temporary closures and will operate on 24 November 2021  between 09:30 and 15:30.

Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.

A request has been received from Thames Water for a temporary road closure to apply to a section of Sandford St Martin Road whilst a new water main connection is installed.

A temporary Notice is being made to implement the temporary closures and will operate from the 10 January 2022 up to and including the 14 January 2022. This is a 24 hour per day closure.…

20’s Plenty

The Duns Tew Parish Council has joined the 20’s Plenty campaign in which villages, towns and local communities across Oxfordshire have united to campaign for a 20mph mandatory speed limit where pedestrians, cyclists (and horses) mix with vehicles.  We have put up new 20’s Plenty signs around the village to support this campaign and the Parish Council would appreciate your support for this by driving at 20mph within the village which will help slow all traffic down
